gothic meets baroque

© Nadine Kessler

Wallpapers are great canvases! There is something about ornaments that makes us feel cosy or comfortable. And baroque wallpapers are strikingly elegant. Since I love playing with type, I decided to use a Gothic typeface and arranged its characters (glyphs) to create this wallpaper. I was surprised that, by just using the shape of the latin alphabet-letters, the appearance of the wallpaper turned out to be  somewhat arabesque.
