Exhibition @ Moonah Arts Centre

The first artwork ‘inscape’ from the series ‘Where we come from” will be exhibited from Wednesday Dec 15th at the Moonah Arts Centre. The group exhibition ‘Glenorchy Open’ shows the artworks of Glenorchy City Council  based artists, held for the second time at the Moonah Arts Centre, in Hopkins Street (Tasmania, Australia).  ‘Where we come from” is an exploration into language, culture and identity. Whilst ‘we’ stands for ‘migrants, the non-locals, the others’ the artwork is about (personal) perception of language, meaning of words, miss-understandings and creating / imagining new words. The media used is letterpress-printing and painting.
